1st Meeting on Organization, Communication and Computer Security for SMEs and Public Institutions in the Central region of Portugal
Aiming to help SMEs in Portugal’s Central Region to improve their competitiveness putting into practice the proper, secure and economic, computer solutions, and by the interest demonstrated by the several SMEs and City Halls we contacted, it seemed appropriated to Centimfe to promote the 1st Meeting on Organization, Communication and Computer Security to SMEs and Public Organizations located in the Central Region of Portugal. The event took place on February 2nd, 2005 at Centimfe.
Events focusing on this thematic are almost inexistent in the region. Then, the goal is to call the attention of those who have responsibility in the companies to the continuously demanding challenges, especially regarding to computer security, in a more and more digital-based economy, providing them, simultaneously, different possible solutions available. At the same time, an Exhibition took place, where several local and national companies showed interesting solutions and products to SMEs.
SAP, Software AG, PT, Microsoft, HP, BeAdvance and McAfee were among the speakers and exhibitors of the event.
The event was participated by more than two hundred people.
